The Spark & Industrial Design

My passion for product design started early. At 14, I sent a hand-drawn sketch of a construction loader to JCB India, receiving unexpected recognition from their leadership team. That early validation sparked a lifelong commitment to design, eventually leading me to Italy to pursue a formal degree in Industrial Design.

After graduating in 2015, I moved back to India to launch my own design consultancy. Working alongside emerging brands, I helped shape their physical products and design strategies from napkin sketches to functional physical prototypes.

The Evolution to Experience Design

While I loved physical craft, I realized the traditional development cycles were long, and I was eager to create impact at a faster, broader scale. Digital products offered the opportunity to solve high-complexity problems, reach millions of users, and iterate in real time.

In 2020, I transitioned into digital product design at a fast-paced startup. As my passion for digital systems grew, I deepened my foundation by earning a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University Bloomington. Looking back, transitioning into experience design has been one of the most fulfilling decisions of my career.

My Craft & Approach

My background in industrial design remains my dynamic superpower in UX. It instilled in me a deep appreciation for physical-to-digital spatial thinking, visual storytelling, meticulous craftsmanship, and hands-on prototyping.

Whether designing physical artifacts or complex enterprise software, I thrive on turning intricate systems into clear, empowering user experiences.

Beyond the Screen

I’m an avid traveler, as travel constantly reframes how I view systems, culture, and human behavior.

When I’m not designing, you can find me cooking, spotting planes, or planning my next outdoor adventure.
